Privacy Policy

This is a plain-language explanation of what RoutePilot ("we", "us") collects, why, and how it's protected, covering the RoutePilot mobile app and this website (together, the "Service").

1. What We Collect

• Account info: your email address and sign-in identifiers, via Firebase Authentication (including Google Sign-In if you use it).
• Subscription & payment info: when you purchase a plan, payment is handled by Stripe (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay) or NOWPayments (cryptocurrency). We never see or store your full card number or crypto wallet credentials — we keep only your plan, transaction ID, status, and expiration date.
• App preferences: your filter rules, scan settings, and other in-app preferences, so your setup persists across sessions.
• Basic device/app diagnostics: app version and similar technical details, used only to keep the Service running smoothly.

2. What We Use It For

• Creating and managing your account and free trial.
• Processing payments and keeping your subscription entitlement accurate — including stacking extra days on top of an existing plan when you buy again.
• Responding to support requests.
• Catching and stopping fraud or abuse (e.g. chargeback abuse, multi-account trial farming).
• Meeting legal obligations where they apply.

3. Who We Share It With

We only share data with the service providers needed to run RoutePilot:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database, hosting, and backend functions.
• Stripe, Inc. — card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay processing.
• NOWPayments — cryptocurrency processing (currently paused — see FAQ).

We do not sell your personal information, period.

4. How Long We Keep It

Account and transaction records are kept while your account is active, and as long as needed for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention reasons. Want your account deleted? Just email us.

5. Security

We use encrypted connections and access controls to protect your data. No system is completely unbreakable, so we can't promise perfect security, but we take it seriously.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may be able to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or object to how it's processed. Reach out using the email below to exercise these rights.

7. Age Restriction

RoutePilot isn't intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from minors.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Policy from time to time. Meaningful changes will be reflected here with an updated "Last updated" date.
